Mungin-Didol 2009

Sing your way to success...

The popular Mungin-didol competition will again feature during the Sunday lunchtime concert at the 2009 Mungindi Music Festival at "Collybidgelah".

Participants and visitors to the Festival are invited to enter the competition for which local businesses have generously donated substantial prizemoney.

1^st Prize $600

2^nd Prize $300

3^rd Prize $100

Rules of entry are:

Entrants must register (in person, by phone, post or email mark.walton@optusnet.com.au) with Mark Walton before

9.00 am on Sunday 4^th October.

Entrants may elect to use their own accompaniment or select a song from the accompanying play list and have Taurus accompany them.

Each entrant may perform one song only.

The competition will be limited to the first 12 applicants - so get in early.

If entrants opt for the Taurus accompaniment, they may choose to change the key of the song but the arrangements cannot be changed. If you wish to use Taurus as your accompaniment and/or wish to change the listed key, ring Wilf on 02 67687 559 (preferably after dark) BEFORE Friday 11^th September. He will forward to you a copy of the lyrics and a chord chart with which to practise. The arrangement and the chord chart will be exactly as the song will be played on the day. For entrants registering after 11^th September and wishing to use Taurus as their backing group, the listed key signature cannot be changed.

Entrants providing their own accompaniment may not use the Taurus instruments.

Judges’ decision is final.
