The success of the Mungindi Music Festival has surpassed the expectations of everybody !
What a great tribute to the power of music and to what can be achieved by a handful of country people with very big hearts and tons of energy and determination !
I’m now 77 and have been a professional musician since the age of 13….. so, in that 64 years I have participated in more music festivals than I can remember, throughout Australia and many other parts of the world. They have all been wonderful. But, there was a very special quality and mood in MUNGINDI I have never seen or felt before and it affected everybody.
Well done to all involved. I’m very proud to have been PATRON of such a truly AUSTRALIAN event. And, ofcourse, it owes so much to the efforts of MARK AND JO WALTON.
