                                              wind/brass instrument.
                                              Fabulous opportunity for your child to have a workshop with one of
                                              Australia’s top musicians.

                                             Mark Walton is currently the Director of the Christchurch School of
                                             Music and was formerly the Chair of woodwind at the Sydney
                                             Conservatorium and is one of Australia’s leading woodwind teachers.
                                             Mark teaches master classes all over the world but is going to be in
                                             Mungindi.
                                             Don’t miss this opportunity!

                                             Kevin Hunt is a regular accompanist for Don Burrows and is a
                                             celebrated Jazz pianist in his own right.

                                              Singing workshop with Brian Buggy & David Miller
                                             
                                              Brian Buggy is currently the guest conductor of the Sydney Youth
                                              Orchestra and David Miller is a celebrated accompanist and Chair
                                              of Ensemble Studies at The Sydney Conservatorium.

Toddler Proms

Saturday Afternoon September 29th

There will be Toddlers  Proms on Saturday afternoon conducted by the Sydney Youth Orchestra. Toddlers Proms introduces young people aged 2-7 to the instruments, sounds and sections of a full symphony orchestra. Audience members are encouraged to clap, march, sing, and dance along to the music, to play the big bass drum, and some lucky youngsters even get the chance to conduct the whole orchestra! Children will be free to this event, however accompanying adults will be the price of a Saturday Day Ticket.


The third Mungindi Music Festival will be on the first weekend in October 2009!
