Do you want to be the talk of the town?

Well the 2007 Mungindi Idol is for you.

At 12 noon on Sunday September 30^th at the “Yarrawa” wheat field we are holding the qualifying round for the 2007 Mungindi Idol Competition and we want you to enter.

As you can see we have a song list that you can select from so why don’t you either by yourself or with a group of friends enter this very lighthearted competition.

The Werris Creek Band “Taurus” will accompany you and the judges will be Country Stat Ryan Sampson and Kiwi Balladeer Phil Garland.

The judges will be looking for the singers with star qualities.

Entries for the Mungindi Idol Competition will have to be registered at the Mungindi Festival Information Counter by 7pm on the Saturday evening of the Festival.

The winner of the qualifying round will sing with Taurus at the final concert at the Crossing on Sunday evening in front of the most enthusiastic audience you are ever likely to come across.

What do you win? … nothing other than notoriety and public adoration in Mungindi!
