From our Festival Director Mark Walton...
This very special Australian Festival will not only bring music to the town of Mungindi and surrounding area but will also give amateur musicians from around Australia the wonderful opportunity to make music in a most extraordinary location. The Mungindi Music Festival will be an unforgettable experience, both musically and socially.

Some of Australia's leading musicians will not only be performing at the Mungindi Festival but even more importantly they will be there to share their expertise and enthusiasm with all the participants. Food
There will be a variety of food available on the weekend, the community groups are catering as well as professional caterers. There are also the two local hotels and cafes. There will be a good variety at reasonable prices. If you want to cook for yourself, there are two very good supermarkets who will have everything you need. There is also a good bakery. There is no need to bring food to Mungindi.

Costs for performing musicians
There is a Festival registration of only $30 per person ($99 per family) and this will entitle you to free entry to all Festival events. A varied selection of quality healthy country food will be available at very reasonable prices throughout the Festival.

From our patron Don Burrows...
In my opinion there is nothing more wonderful than community music-making. It is so fresh and alive. I am thrilled and excited to be the patron of the Mungindi Music Festival.
