Festival Transport Arrangements

The nearest airport and railway station is Moree. Festival buses will pick up participants to take them to Mungindi which is 1 hour and 20 minutes further west.

(There is an airport 5km from Mungindi that is open to private charter planes - the festival committee can arrange to pick you up if you can fly right in. Call Marg Barlow on 02 6753 2336).

Festival shuttle buses in Mungindi will transport the performers and audiences to the different performance locations.

As there will be large numbers of people travelling from Sydney we hope to make special arrangements with Countrylink for a special festival portion of the Sydney to Moree train on the Thursday 29th and returning on Monday Oct 3rd.

Contact the Festival Hotline on 0428 364 999 to find out about other groups travelling to Mungindi as there may be the opportunity of sharing transport.
