After the huge success of our second Mungindi Music Festival in 2007, we are thrilled to announce we'll be back for our third weekend of jazz, folk, classical, rock and country music over the October long weekend next year. Expect an even bigger festival under the wide open skies of Mungindi in 2009.
We will post information on next year's exciting artist line-up on the website over the coming months.

It is full steam ahead for our third Mungindi Music Festival in the first weekend of October next year – and with a good harvest expected this year, we are in the mood to celebrate. And to make it all happen, we have launched the Mungindi Music Festival Grain Drive. This will be our only major local fundraiser ahead of the 2009 festival.
We now have an account with the National Grower Register and encourage you to get behind the festival and donate some of your grain – anything from 100kgs to a few truckloads! – at your closest silo. Boomi boy Richard Officer from Officer Grains has kindly offered to market the wheat for us for free.
Unfortunately donations are not tax-deductable and, if you do kindly decide to donate, we need you to let us know how much grain you have donated. We can then send you a receipt which will note the quantity - not the value – of your donation.
Here is how to get involved with the grain drive:
The inaugural 2005 Mungindi Music Festival was hugely successful and was a finalist in the NSW/ACT Regional Achievement & Community Awards. The second Mungindi Music Festival was named runner-up as the Best All-Round Program in the 2008 Music Council of Australia’s Music.
